About
Estefania is an advisor, author and speaker on topics around Smart and Sustainable Cities. She obtained her Ph.D. at ETH Zurich and worked for 7 years as a Research Scientist & Lecturer in Zurich (at ETH Zurich) and in Singapore (at the Future Cities Laboratory for Cooling Singapore). She co-developed the first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) series on ´Future Cities` and co-authored the book 'City in your Hands', adding to a list of publications. After 7 years in research and academia and 2 years in consulting, Estefania currently works as a Smart Cities Expert at Dassault Systèmes.
In addition, Estefania is a lecturer in the Executive Master on Digital Twins for Complex Infrastructures and Urban Ecosystems at École des Ponts ParisTech, and for MBA elective courses at HEC Paris.
Estefania has been listed in Forbes 30 under 30 in 2018, and in the Top 100 Digital Shapers in Switzerland in 2018 & 2019.
Speaker
Estefania is an expert and public speaker on topics related to Smart and Sustainable Cities. She has also been invited to speak about her experience in entrepreneurship, leadership and advancing women. She has been a speaker at international events such as the Smart Cities Expo World Congress.
